Interzero Competence Centre - researching and developing for you
Interzero’s own competence centre is located in Maribor. Research, analysis and development take place here. From various laboratory analyses to our own production of plastics for individual recycling, we are able to support our customers across Europe.
As the only recognised research facility in the EU specialising in the development and analysis of recycled plastics, the Centre of Competence has been internationally accredited to the EN/ISO 17025 laboratory standard since March 2020 and is officially approved to carry out a total of 16 methods of analysis. The laboratory thus meets the needs of many industrial companies. Materials are tested according to international standards and in-house methodology. We carry out technical evaluations of existing and newly developed plastics in accordance with the EU chemicals regulation REACH and EU guidelines. We offer highly professional direct advice and support:
- Developing new materials and optimising processing
- Cost, energy and process optimisation of materials production and processing
- Packaging is analysed for the materials used and recycled, with a subsequent stamping, through the “Made for Recycling” service.
