Resources SAVED by recycling: climate protection in black and white<\/strong><\/h1>\n

We work together with our customers to conserve precious resources and protect the climate.<\/span><\/span> The renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Security and Energy Technology (UMSICHT) regularly uses figures to prove the positive effects of the Interzero mission.<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

In its annual study \u201cresources SAVED by recycling\u201d, the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT calculates the extent to which the environment has been helped by Interzero\u2019s recycling services.<\/p>\n

In 2024 alone, this study showed that\u00a01.9 million tonnes of resources were handled by closed-loop systems<\/strong>\u00a0run by Interzero\u2019s companies such as Interzero in Germany, Austria, Poland; Italy and Slovenia, saving around\u00a08.09 million tonnes of primary raw materials<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This corresponds to the weight of over four million SUVs. At the same time, Interzero’s recycling activities avoided a total of\u00a01.04 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions<\/strong>. This equals the CO2 emissions from around 3.2 million single car journeys between Interzero’s locations in Warsaw and Valencia.**<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
